Endodontic treatment
When the pulp of the tooth (nerve) is affected by an irritant (tooth decay, trauma…), the root canal treatment must be done.
The endodontic treatment is a conservative treatment that consists of shaping and cleaning the root canal anatomy of the tooth, preventing the appearance or treating the apical periodontal disease. It can be surgical or non-surgical treatment.
This procedures allow us to keep the tooth in function in your mouth.
A Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a 3-Dimensonal radiography. It is a very powerful tool that is sometimes necessary to help diagnosing, and planning a successful endodontic treatment.

Hey doc, why are you looking in a microscope?
In this treatment, the magnification is important to see and find all the root canals to give the best chances of healing.
The magnification allows us to treat the tooth in a more minimal invasive way, with more quality, increasing the survival rate of the tooth.
