Periodontal treatment

Periodontal treatment prevents the development of periodontal pocket, bone loss, gum recession, mobility of teeth and ultimately tooth loss.

Consists of cleaning the root of the tooth (Root scaling) in all its length. It can be a surgical or a non-surgical treatment (prevention).

The goal is to give the gum its ability to connect to the tooth, providing stability and preventing the development of bacteria in the periodontal pocket.
